Antonia Muniz was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and grew up in Rio de Janeiro. At college she studied literature but today her main passion is for her art. Antonia conveys a unique
Brazilian spirit through her paintings. She captures the vibrancy, the color, the vitality of life in Brazil. Antonia has lived in the wonderful state of South Carolina for two years. She has discovered that Americans have an affinity for her paintings because they convey such a positive view of life.
“I want to show the world that life is colorful,” Antonia says. “Now more then ever we need to know that life is full of color and excitement. My paintings show this sense of vitality. ”
Antonia adds: "My work is not just a memory of a colorful past - it is a promise of a colorful future."
